The Lankester Gardens is a beautiful garden rich in flora. There are more then 800 types of orchids in the garden. Lankester Gardens was created in 1940 by Charles Lankester for preservation of the local flora.
Visit the Museo de Oro Banco Central or Gold museum which displays different objects with 20,000 trou ounces of gold in them. There is a Costa Rica Tourist Institute Information Center branch, a small gift shop, an art exhibit gallery, philatelic museums and a separate numismatic in the Gold Museum.
