This particular national park was established in 1989 and the main objective of the park was to link the Santa Rosa National Park with the Orosis high elevated forest. The main initiative behind the development of the park goes to Mr. Daniel Janzen who collected immense donation from different section of the society. The striking feature of the Guanacaste National Park is its high elevation; this highly elevated surface will definitely allure your feet for a walk through the park. The park is also an important place for viewing variants of birds. The vital inhabitants of the Guanacaste National Park are Collared Peccaries, Howler Monkeys, White-nosed Coatis, Capuchin Monkeys, white-throated Magpie Jays, White-tailed Deer, Squirrel Cuckoos and many more. The driest months in the Guanacaste region is from December to April, but as you go higher there are chances of getting rain which are often heavy.
