About Costa Rica
Costa Rica or the Republic of Costa Rica is a country of the United Sates of America. It is located in the Central America. The country of Costa Rica is encircled by the Panama in the south and southeast, Nicaragua in the north, Caribbean Sea in the eastern side and the Pacific Ocean in the south and western side
The various attractions of the country along with its flora and fauna juxtaposed with the geographical aspects make Costa Rica a well known tourist destination of America. Before we visit the country it is better that we must know something about Costa Rica.

The geographical feature of the country makes us known about Costa Rica that the Cerro Chirripo is the highest point of the country. Lake Arenal is the largest lake of the country while Irazu Volcano is the highest volcano. The capital city of the country is San Jose; city of Cartago was its former capital. Puntarenas is a known coast of the country.

The country of Costa Rica has also gained importance for the literacy rate. It has a record of 96% according to the CIA World Fact book of the year 2007. This literacy rate is the highest of the literacy rates of Latin America.
